SE "Transcarpathian ETC" refers to the management of the State Service of Ukraine on labor and established to provide scientific and technical support to the State Supervision in occupational safety, works and services for industrial safety and labor protection, which are regulated by the current legislation of Ukraine, but that does not provide funding.

Order of Gosnadzorohrantruda Ukraine from 28.07.2004 N 179 Transcarpathian expert technical center defined by the authorized organization to perform functions related to equipment increased risk in the Transcarpathian region:
- an initial inspection before putting it into operation;
- an extraordinary inspection if the deadline of operation, accident or damage caused by emergency situations of natural or man-made disasters;
- maintenance of records of the technical condition of the equipment.
